Original measurement 1.98cm diam (RF 1.38 cm diam by comparison)
Initially prescribed stall rest only

 

One Month

Ultrasound repeated, RF SDF diam 1.3 cm, LF SDF diam 1.59cm
Dx. Resolving tendonitis
Rx. Stall rest with daily hand walking and swimming, topical Surpass cream, and Reserpine in feed; recheck in two weeks

 

Two Months

Recheck ultrasound

LF SDF tendon diameter 1.52cm
Rx. Continued hand walking, swimming, and started laser therapy

 
Three Months

Recheck Ultrasound
LF SDF tendon diameter 1.41 cm
Dx. Tendon slightly enlarged but smaller than last exam, recc’d continue laser therapy
