Signalment
Canine, Retriever mix, 10 year old, MN

History 
Presented with an acute left hind limb lameness. Previously diagnosed left medial patellar luxation

Diagnostics and Exam Findings 
Radiographs showed bilateral stifle DJD with joint effusion and left pelvic limb muscle atrophy, likely secondary to bilateral CCL instability.

PRP Treatment Details
2 mls PRP IA in both stifles; single PRP injection.

Laser Treatment Details 
The Pain/Trauma protocol was used on contact over the stifle with the large contact treatment head to provide 8 J/cm2

Frequency of Treatment 
Patient received laser therapy for pain management until scheduled PRP treatment  then immediately after PRP injection. Continued monthly maintenance laser therapy treatments both stifles.
