Broad-winged Hawk (Buteo platypterus)

History
Unknown trauma; presented with complete fracture of right metacarpal

Diagnostics and Exam Findings:
See attached radiographs

Laser Treatment
3W at CW for 270 total Joules

Frequency of Treatment
Three times weekly over three weeks (nine total treatments)

Other Treatments
Meloxicam (1mb/kg PO BID 8 days) and a figure-of-8 bandage placed on that wing
